Glazed sweet potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- firmly packed light brown sugar - 1/4 c
- can sweet potatoes, sliced or quartered - 1 lb
How to make glazed sweet potatoes:
Dissolve jello gelatin and salt in boiling water. In pot, add butter and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add sweet potatoes and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, basting frequently. When syrup thickens and is glossy, remove from heat.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
