Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder optional - 1 item
- envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
- jar apricot preserves - 16 oz
- chicken parts - 3 4
- barbecue sauce optional - 1/2 c
- bottle red Russian dressing - 1 item
- salt and pepper optoinal - 1 item
How to make glazed chicken:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix dressing, soup mix and preserves in a large bowl. Dip chicken parts into mixture and coat well. Place on foil-lined pan, pour remaining mixture over chicken. Bake for 1/2 hour on each side, turn once more and raise temperature of oven to 375°. Bake for another 1/2 hour. During this time glaze should thicken.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
