Glazed carrots and onions



  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • can sliced carrots - 1 lb
  • finely chopped white onions - 1/2 c

How to make glazed carrots and onions:

Place carrots in 2-quart casserole dish along with butter. Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients; stir and microwave for another 2 to 4 minutes until vegetables are glazed.

Range Top: If using raw carrots, place peeled carrots in 1-inch boiling water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add onions. Cook for 5 minutes. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Cook for 5 minutes or until vegetables are glazed.
