Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- carrots, cut in large pieces - 1 lb
How to make glazed carrots:
About 25 minutes before serving: Put carrots and salt in medium saucepan over medium heat in 1 inch boiling water. Cook for 15 minutes, or until tender but still firm. Drain. Add butter, sugar and nutmeg. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until carrots are glazed. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
