Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 3/4 c
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
How to make gingersnaps:
Mix thoroughly shortening, brown sugar, egg and molasses. Blend in remaining ingredients. Chill 1 hour. Roll into balls. Dip in sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
