Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- Crisco - 3/4 c
- ground cloves - 1 tsp
- extra sugar - 1 item
How to make gingersnaps:
Cream 1 cup sugar and Crisco. Add molasses, then the egg. Mix well and add all dry ingredients together with creamed mixture. Form into small balls. Roll in sugar.Place on ungreased cookie sheet (do not place too close together). Flatten with the bottom of a glass.
Note: Do not grease cookie sheet.
