Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- molasses - 4 Tbsp
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- white sugar - 1 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
How to make gingersnap cookies:
Combine shortening and sugar. Mix well. Add molasses and egg. Combine dry ingredients. Add to shortening mixture. Make into balls the size of a walnut. Dip in sugar and bake in a 350° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
