Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 3/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1 tsp
- light molasses - 1/2 c
How to make gingersnap cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar; add molasses and egg. Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Roll in small balls; dip in sugar. Place 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
