  • brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • ginger - 2 tsp
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • carrots, cut into strips - 1 lb

How to make gingered carrots:

Cook carrots in water 5 to 6 minutes or until tender. Drain on paper towels. Pat dry. Melt butter in saucepan; add ginger, brown sugar and salt. Mix well. Add carrots; cook over low heat 3 to 4 minutes, stirring gently. Makes 4 servings.
