  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • molasses
  • ginger - 2 tsp
  • self-rising flour - 3 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • sweet milk - 1/2 c

How to make gingerbread pound cake:

Beat Crisco, molasses, eggs and sugar until fluffy; sift flour and spices together and add to molasses mixture and milk. Bake in Bundt pan for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°. Glaze with a thin glaze of corn syrup (good with Cool Whip).
