- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- molasses
- ginger - 2 tsp
- self-rising flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- sweet milk - 1/2 c
How to make gingerbread pound cake:
Beat Crisco, molasses, eggs and sugar until fluffy; sift flour and spices together and add to molasses mixture and milk. Bake in Bundt pan for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°. Glaze with a thin glaze of corn syrup (good with Cool Whip).In memory of Leuria Roman.
