Gingerbread muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- molasses - 1 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- hot water - 1 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- sifted all-purpose flour - 3 c
How to make gingerbread muffins:
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add egg; beat well. Add molasses. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt. Add to first mixture. Add water; beat until smooth. Fill small greased muffin pan 2/3 full. Bake in 350°Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
