Gingerbread muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 1/3 c
- buttermilk - 3/4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- egg white - 1 item
- white flour - 1 c
- wheat flour - 3/4 c
How to make gingerbread muffins:
Combine dry ingredients in large bowl; set aside. In large bowl, mix buttermilk, oil, egg, egg white and molasses. Add to the dry mixture and stir lightly; DO NOT OVERMIX! Drop into muffin tins. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
