Gingerbread men

Ingredients/Components

• soda - 1 tsp
• ginger - 2 tsp
• currants - 1 item
• butter 6 1/2 Tbsp - 4 oz
• brown sugar 1/2 c - 4 oz
• sifted flour 2 c - 10 oz
• warmed syrup 1/2 c - 4 oz

How to make gingerbread men:

Cream butter and sugar together. Mix in dry ingredients and syrup until dough. Knead with hands; roll on floured board. Cut out currants for eyes. Bake in a greased pan at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
