Gingerbread men

Ingredients/Components

• brown sugar - 3/4 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• molasses - 1/4 c
• flour
• ginger - 2 tsp
• baking soda
• allspice - 1/2 tsp
• cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• Add eggs and molasses, blending well
• milk - 1 Tbsp
• food coloring as desired - 1 item

How to make gingerbread men:

Mix together brown sugar and butter until well blended. Add eggs and molasses, blending well. Add the remaining ingredients. Chill for 1 hour. Bake for 10 minutes at 350° on a greased baking sheet. Decorate with Sugar Icing after these have cooled. This recipe makes approximately 24 (5-inch) cookies.Sugar Icing:3/4 c. confectioners sugar, plus 1 Tbsp. confectioners sugar1 Tbsp. milk food coloring as desired Mix all together well. Use for decorating cookies, etc.
