Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- molasses - 3/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- sour milk - 1 c
How to make gingerbread:
Combine eggs, sugar, shortening and molasses. Sift flour. Measure and sift with soda, spices and salt. Add alternately with milk. Beat until well blended. Pour into a well-oiled 12-inch Dutch oven.
