Gingerbread
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- oil - 2 sticks
- soda - 2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 2 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- molasses - 1 c
- ginger - 2 Tbsp
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- Mix all dry ingredients together, then add to the other mixture
How to make gingerbread:
First mix sugar and eggs; add molasses, then add margarine (or oil) and buttermilk; set aside. Mix all dry ingredients together, then add to the other mixture. Pour out on floured surface and knead. Make into biscuits or cookies. Place in pan.
