Ingredients/Components

  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • oil - 2 sticks
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 2 Tbsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • molasses - 1 c
  • ginger - 2 Tbsp
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • Mix all dry ingredients together, then add to the other mixture

How to make gingerbread:

First mix sugar and eggs; add molasses, then add margarine (or oil) and buttermilk; set aside. Mix all dry ingredients together, then add to the other mixture. Pour out on floured surface and knead. Make into biscuits or cookies. Place in pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 pkg. powdered sugar8 oz. cream cheese1 stick butter2 tsp. vanilla
