Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- molasses warm - 1/2 c
How to make gingerbread:
Mix warm molasses and shortening. Add milk and egg; mix well. Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together. Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
