Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- flour
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- boiling water - 1 c
- molasses - 3/4 c
- ginger - 2 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- butter, melted - 3/4 c
How to make gingerbread:
Mix first 4 ingredients together. Sift next 8 ingredients together. Add this to the first mixture and beat thoroughly. Add boiling water, beating well. Turn into greased 9 x 12-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
