Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 4 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- shortening
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1 tsp
- dark molasses - 1/2 c
How to make ginger cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and molasses. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into 1 1/2-inch balls. Roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 8 to 10 minutes or until done.
