Giblet gravy
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 item
- water - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- boiled eggs - 6 item
- sage optional - 1/4 tsp
- chicken gizzards
How to make giblet gravy:
Boil gizzards until tender (salt and pepper to taste). Drain, saving broth. Dice gizzards. Put back into broth. Dice eggs; add to broth. Add sage. Bring to boil. Mix flour with water. Beat together until all lumps are dissolved. Add to broth, stirring consistently so it won't stick and scorch. Reduce heat and simmer until you've reached desired consistency.
