Giant chocolate chip cookie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/4 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1/2 c
• pkg - 1 oz
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• baking soda - 1/2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• margarine, softened - 1/2 c
• unsifted all-purpose flour
• packed light brown sugar - 1/3 c

How to make giant chocolate chip cookie:

Cream margarine, brown sugar and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts. Spread dough evenly in greased 13-inch round pizza pan.

Preheat oven to 350°. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan. Cut into wedges. Makes 16 servings.

Note: Cookie can be decorated for use as a birthday "cookie-cake".
