German potato salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- onions - 1 item
- bacon - 1/2 lb
- boiled potatoes, sliced - 1 item
How to make german potato salad:
Fry bacon until crisp. Break into pieces. To drippings in skillet, add flour, water, vinegar, sugar, salt and mustard. Lay potatoes in casserole with one layer potatoes and one layer of thinly sliced onions until casserole is filled. Pour dressing over top and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Potato.
