- sugar - 1 c
- flour
- boiling water - 2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- chopped onions - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- bacon - 1/2 lb
- salad potatoes - 4 5
- Fry bacon until crisp; drain
How to make german potato salad:
Cook, peel and slice salad potatoes. Fry bacon until crisp; drain. Add chopped onions, salt and pepper.Dressing:2 eggs1 c. sugar2 c. boiling water2 heaping Tbsp. flour1/2 c. vinegar Beat eggs and sugar. Add boiling water, flour and vinegar. Bring to a boil.
