  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 3/4 c
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • to 8 boiled potatoes, sliced - 6 item
  • to 6 slices bacon, crumbled - 3 item

How to make german potato salad:

Cook chopped onion in bacon fat until it becomes transparent. Combine flour, vinegar, water, sugar, salt and pepper with bacon fat and onion. Stir constantly, cooking until thick. Add sliced potatoes and crumbled bacon to dressing.
