Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- flour
- water - 2/3 c
- cider vinegar - 2/3 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- slices cooked bacon - 2 item
- potatoes, cooked and sliced do not over cook - 12 item
- medium onion 1 1/4 inch, raw to potatoes - 1 item
How to make german potato salad:
To bacon fat, add 1 rounded tablespoon flour, 2/3 cup cider vinegar, 2/3 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar. Bring to a boil; cool a bit before pouring over the potatoes.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Potato.
