- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- shredded Swiss cheese - 1 c
- bacon slices - 8 item
- minced green onions - 1/4 c
- large potatoes, peeled - 4 item
- oil or bacon drippings for frying - 1 item
How to make german potato pancakes:
Cook bacon until crisp; drain. Coarsely shred potatoes. Stir in egg, onions, salt, pepper and flour. Put mixture in sieve, press with spoon for starch to drain. Add crumbled bacon. Form into patties.
