German pancakes
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- large apple, sliced - 1 item
How to make german pancakes:
In blender, mix eggs, salt, flour and milk. Preheat oven to 425°. Heat a 10-inch skillet with 3 tablespoons butter until sizzling, but not brown. Put batter in skillet. Bake 10 minutes, reduce heat to 375° and bake 20 to 30 minutes more. Do not brown too much.While baking, saute apples, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice until tender. Top pancakes with apples. Serve hot with lemon wedges and shake of powdered sugar.
