Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • honey - 1/2 c
  • prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • onion, chopped fine - 1 item
  • head cabbage, shredded fine - 1/2 item
  • green pepper, shredded fine - 1 item
  • red pepper, shredded fine - 1 item

How to make german coleslaw:

Shred cabbage and add sugar. In saucepan add oil, vinegar, honey, salt, prepared mustard and celery seed. Bring all to boil. Pour over cabbage. Let refrigerate overnight.
