German coleslaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- head cabbage, shredded fine - 1/2 item
- green pepper, shredded fine - 1 item
- red pepper, shredded fine - 1 item
How to make german coleslaw:
Shred cabbage and add sugar. In saucepan add oil, vinegar, honey, salt, prepared mustard and celery seed. Bring all to boil. Pour over cabbage. Let refrigerate overnight.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, German.
