- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- evaporated milk
- coconut - 1/2 c
- chocolate - 4 oz
- 10-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make german chocolate pie:
Melt chocolate with butter over low heat. Remove from heat, gradually add in milk, cornstarch, sugar, coconut and salt. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir all ingredients together. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
