  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 1 stick
  • 1/2 pkg
  • nuts, broken in small pieces - 1/2 c

How to make german chocolate pie:

Melt chocolate and margarine in top of double boiler over simmering water. Beat three eggs until thick. Beat in flour, sugar, and vanilla. Cool chocolate mixture, beat in and add nuts. Grease and flour an 8-inch pan and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

This dessert may be made the day before and refrigerated, but should be taken out several hours before so that the center will be soft. It forms a crust on the outside and pulls away from the sides of the pan when done. Easy and delicious.
