  • sifted bread crumbs, browned - 4 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • beaten eggs - 4 item
  • cream - 1 c
  • salt, pepper and pinch of allspice - 1 item

How to make german butterballs:

Mix bread crumbs, butter and seasoning. Add eggs and last the cream. Mix smooth. Form into little balls. Drop in noodle soup and cook until they come to the surface.
