German apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- pecans - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 oz
- chopped apples - 4 c
- softened cream cheese
- walnuts - 1 c
How to make german apple cake:
Frosting:1 oz. softened cream cheese1/2 stick butter1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. pecans Mix sugar, eggs, flour, cinnamon, vegetable oil, apples and walnuts. Mix all ingredients with a wooden spoon; batter will be very stiff. Pour batter in a 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Frosting: Mix softened cream cheese, 1/2 stick softened butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix with a mixer. Frost cake after it is cooled. Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped pecans on top of icing.
