German apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- margarine - 3/4 c
- chopped walnuts or pecans - 1/2 c
- large McIntosh apples, diced - 4 item
How to make german apple cake:
Cream together milk, margarine, vanilla, sugar and egg. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, apples and nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle on cake before baking. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
