German apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- peeled thinly sliced apples - 4 c
How to make german apple cake:
Combine first 3 ingredients; set aside. Beat eggs in sugar. Combine oil and orange juice. Add alternately with dry ingredients to egg mixture. Mix until smooth; add vanilla and beat well. Pour 1/2 batter in greased and floured tube pan. Arrange 1/2 apples over batter. Combine cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle over 1/2 of apples. Top with remaining butter, apples and sugar.
