Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • olive oil - 3 Tbsp
  • tomato juice - 3 c
  • hot pepper sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • small garlic clove - 1 item
  • small onion, cut up - 1 item
  • croutons for garnish - 1 item
  • small green pepper, cut up - 1 item
  • chopped onion for garnish - 1/2 c
  • large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and cut up - 3 item
  • cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut up - 1 item
  • cucumber, diced and seeded for garnish - 1/2 c
  • diced green pepper for garnish - 1/2 c

How to make gazpacho:

In covered blender container at high speed, blend first 10 ingredients 1/3 at a time until fairly smooth. Pour into large bowl; cover and chill. Serve in soup bowls and pass chopped vegetables and croutons for garnish.
