Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • water
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
  • red wine vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • tomato juice - 3 c
  • hot sauce - 1/4 1/2
  • can tomato soup, undiluted - 1 3/4
  • cucumber slices - 1 item
  • commercial Italian salad dressing - 1/4 c
  • peeled, chopped tomato - 2 c
  • peeled, chopped cucumber - 3/4 c
  • dash of white wine - 1 item

How to make gazpacho:

Combine all ingredients except cucumber slices. Stir well. Cover and chill at least 8 hours. Ladle into large, stemmed glasses. Garnish with cucumber slices. Yields 9 cups.
