Garlicky chicken wings
Ingredients/Components
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2/3 c
- olive oil - 1/3 c
- Italian style bread crumbs - 2/3 c
- wings or chicken cutlets or cut up whole chicken - 2 lb
- black pepper, coarsely cracked - 3/4 tsp
- large bulb fresh garlic - 1 item
- to 10 drops hot sauce optional - 8 item
How to make garlicky chicken wings:
Using either wings, cutlets or chicken parts, rinse and pat dry. Separate cloves of peeled garlic; place garlic, olive oil and hot sauce in blender or food processor and puree. Do not cut garlic, leave cloves whole, they puree much better whole. Combine bread crumbs and grated cheese with pepper. Dip wings in puree (garlic). Roll in bread crumbs, one piece at a time. Oil shallow baking pan. In single layer bake in preheated 375° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until crisp and brown.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Chicken, Chicken wing.
