  • butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Italian seasoning - 1/2 tsp
  • slices bread - 5 item

How to make garlic croutons:

Cut bread into 1/2-inch cubes. In ovenproof skillet or baking pan, melt butter or margarine and garlic salt. Add bread cubes; toss to coat. Place in a 300° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until croutons are quite dry and crispy. Refrigerate in tightly covered jar until needed. Yields 3 cups.
