Ingredients/Components
- cubed chicken breasts - 1 lb
- rice wine or dry sherry
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- sesame oil - 1 Tbsp
- egg white - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
- water - 2 c
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- can sliced water chestnuts or bamboo shoots - 1 item
- carrots, peeled and cut into thin sticks - 8 item
- stalk celery, cut into thin sticks - 1/2 item
- large onion, cut into strips - 1 item
- oil - 1 c
- soy sauce - 1 item
How to make garlic chicken:
Marinade:1 tsp. rice wine or dry sherry1/4 tsp. salt1 Tbsp. sesame oil1 egg white1 chicken bouillon cube2 c. water1 tsp. cornstarch1 can sliced water chestnuts or bamboo shoots8 carrots, peeled and cut into thin sticks1/2 stalk celery, cut into thin sticks1 large onion, cut into strips1 c. oil soy sauce Microwave chicken bouillon cube in 2 cups water and add cornstarch. Heat oil in skillet and stir-fry chicken. Remove chicken from oil and add to cornstarch and chicken bouillon mix. Cook over a low flame. Stir-fry the vegetables and add to chicken mixture.
