Ingredients/Components

  • grated Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
  • olive oil - 1/4 c
  • fresh ground black pepper - 1 item
  • loaf French bread about 12-inches long; Italian or sourdough bread may be used - 1 item
  • or 4 cloves garlic, minced - 3 item
  • dried oregano laves - 1/4 tsp

How to make garlic bread:

Heat the oven to 375°. Halve the bread lengthwise. In a small bowl, stir the oil, oregano, garlic and pepper. Spread on bread. Wrap each half in foil, leaving the tops uncovered. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 25 minutes until golden and crusted. With a serrated knife, cut each half into 6 pieces. Serves 6.
