Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- shredded cabbage - 1 qt
- small onion - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
- turmeric - 1/4 tsp
How to make garden slaw:
Chop pepper and onion; add to shredded cabbage. Mix remaining ingredients and boil for 3 minutes. Pour over cabbage. Pack in jars. Boil in hot water bath for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low cholesterol, Salads.
