  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/4 c
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • unbaked pie crust - 1 item
  • chocolate unsweetened
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly

How to make funny cake:

Melt chocolate in the water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in margarine and vanilla. Set aside.Batter:1 c. flour3/4 c. sugar1 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt1/4 c. shortening1/2 c. milk1 egg1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add shortening and milk. Beat 2 minutes. Pour batter into unbaked crust. Pour chocolate over top and spread over batter. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
