  • milk - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • oil for frying - 1 item
  • flour all-purpose - 1 c

How to make funnel cake:

Combine flour, milk, baking soda, salt and egg. Let batter rest for 10 minutes. Heat oil until very hot. Drip the batter through a funnel into the hot fat, forming a kind of spiral design. Flip over when brown and brown the other side. Drain on paper towel and sprinkle with the confectioners sugar.
