Fudge sauce
Ingredients/Components
- tsp salt - 1/8 item
- tsp vanilla - 1 item
- 1/2 c sugar - 1 item
- c butter or margarine - 1/4 item
- squares unsweet chocolate - 2 item
- c less 2 tbsp evaporated milk - 1 item
How to make fudge sauce:
Heat butter and chocolate in top of double boiler until melted. Stir in salt, then sugar in 4 or 5 portions being sure to blend in sugar thoroughly after each portion. The mixture becomes very thick, dry and grainy. Stir in milk very slowly. Cook 5-6 minutes longer or until slightly thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
