  • sugar
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk
  • vanilla extract
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • confectioners sugar
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • soft butter - 1/4 c
  • plus 1/2 c - 2 Tbsp
  • plus 1 1/3 c - 3 Tbsp
  • envelopes premelted unsweetened chocolate - 4 item

How to make fudge ribbon cake:

Chocolate Frosting:1/3 c. milk1/4 c. soft butter1 tsp. vanilla2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar2 envelopes premelted unsweetened chocolate In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons butter with cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of milk and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.

Beat at high speed until smooth and creamy. Grease and flour bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Combine remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Blend well at low speed. Spread half of batter in pan, then the cream cheese filling and on top of that the remaining mixture to cover. Bake in a 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool and frost.

For frosting, combine all ingredients and beat until spreading consistency.
