Fudge puddles
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 3/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- milk chocolate chips - 1 c
- creamy peanut butter - 1/2 c
- sweetened condensed milk - 1 can
How to make fudge puddles:
Cream butter, sugar and peanut butter together. Add egg and vanilla. Mix flour, soda and salt and add to mixture. Mix all well and chill for one hour. Shape into 48 balls, 1-inch each. Place in lightly greased mini muffin tins. Bake at 325° for 14 to 16 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately make "wells" in center of each with a melon baller. Cool in pans 5 minutes. Remove to wire rack and fill.Filling: In double boiler, melt chocolate chips, milk and vanilla. Mix well and fill each shell. Sprinkle with chopped nuts (peanuts). Leftover filling can be served warm over ice cream.
