Fudge pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- chopped pecans - 3/4 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- hot water - 3/4 c
- deep dish pie crust - 1 item
- small can milk evaporated - 1 item
How to make fudge pecan pie:
Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 350°. In medium saucepan, melt butter. Add hot water and stir again. With wire whisk, stir in cocoa, sugar, flour, salt, extract and evaporated milk. Stir until batter is smooth. Mix in pecans and pour into pie crust. Bake on preheated cookie sheet for 50 minutes or until custard is set.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
