  • butter - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • oatmeal - 3 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 1 pkg
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • sifted flour
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • can sweetened condensed milk - 1 item

How to make fudge nut bars:

In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Cream. In second bowl, mix together all dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture and set aside.

Topping: In a double boiler, mix together the chocolate chips, condensed milk, 2 tablespoons butter, vanilla and milk. Melt together until smooth, stirring constantly. Press crumb mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Pour chocolate mixture over and bake in preheated 325° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
