Fudge frosting



  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • evaporated milk - 3/4 c
  • corn syrup - 2 Tbsp
  • chocolate - 2 sq

How to make fudge frosting:

Combine first 5 ingredients. Cook over low heat and stir until dissolved. Cook until a little syrup dropped into cold water forms a soft ball. Stir constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat and add butter. Cool to lukewarm. Add vanilla and beat until thick and creamy. Thin with a small amount of milk, if necessary.
