Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- flour, sifted - 2 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- box powdered sugar, sifted - 1 item
- Icing:1 stick oleo
How to make fudge cake:
Icing:1 stick oleo2 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa1/3 c. milk1 box powdered sugar, sifted1 tsp. vanilla Put in bowl the flour and sugar. Bring to boil in saucepan the cocoa, oleo, water and Crisco. Add cocoa mixture to flour and sugar. Next, add eggs to buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Bake in greased and floured oblong pan at 400° for about 20 minutes. Punch holes in cake and add icing.Icing: Bring to boil oleo, cocoa and milk. Add powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla. Pour over cake while hot, right from oven.
